FIRST WARN FORECAST: The warmest weather in half a year arrives this weekend
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - We have some exceptionally nice weather to be outside in the Kansas City area this weekend. It will be dry and have lots of sun, and a big warm-up is on the way. The only small issue is that the wind will be gusty at times.
SATURDAY: It starts cool with low to mid-40s, but sunshine will quickly warm our temperatures to the 50s and 60s and ultimately bring highs in the 70s. A high of 75 is forecast for Kansas City, which is about 10 degrees above normal. You will likely notice a southeast gust to 30 mph at times. This isn’t enough to spoil outdoor plans, but it is on the breezy side.

SUNDAY: The warmest day in six months, since mid-October. Almost hot, with highs in the mid-80s, though humidity is still low. A breeze will be back, gusting up to 30 mph at times (especially along and south of I-70).

MONDAY: It will be about 20 degrees cooler with highs in the mid-60s, scattered morning showers and a mostly sunny afternoon.
TUESDAY: Sunshine & 60s
WEDNESDAY: Low 70s, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, windy.
