Kansas City police investigate after 3 men shot while driving on Interstate 29
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Early Sunday morning, officers were dispatched to the Northland after multiple people reported being shot on Interstate 29.
According to a report from the Kansas City Police Department, the shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. on April 13.
Five men in the same car told officers they were driving on I-29 when they were shot at near North Oak Trafficway. Three of the men were hit and taken to area hospitals with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The other two were not injured.
KD does not appear to have anyone in custody, and a description of a possible person of interest was not provided.
An investigation into this incident is ongoing. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
