KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiring to traffic guns to prohibited people.

Twenty-four-year-old Fedo A. Manning pled guilty, itting that he knowingly and willfully agreed to selling guns to individuals who were prohibited from possessing them under federal law.

The U.S. Department of Justice said one of the guns purchased by Manning was discovered at the scene of the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl rally on Feb. 14, 2024. The recovered pistol was found along a wall with a backpack next to two AR-15 style firearms and backpacks, court documents said.

According to Manning’s plea agreement, he and his co-conspirators trafficked at least 22 guns to people who were known felons or sold guns that were converted into uned machine guns.

Manning’s role in the agreement was to purchase guns that would later be sold to people who were prohibited from owning them.

Manning is subject to a sentence of up to 15 years in federal prison without parole.
