COLUMBUS, Mo. (KCTV) - A rollover crash on Easter Sunday left a woman and child to recover in a Warrensburg hospital over the holiday weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 20, emergency crews were called to the area of Route UU and NW 400 Rd., northwest of Warrensburg, with reports of a single-vehicle crash.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a 25-year-old Centerview man had been driving a 2006 Dodge Durango south on the highway when, for an unknown reason, he veered off the right side of the roadway. The Dodge flipped as a result.

Emergency crews said a 27-year-old Centerview woman and another 7-year-old enger were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center. The woman was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the child sustained minor injuries.

State Troopers noted that the driver also sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. The female enger was also found not to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time. Everyone else had been properly restrained.

Investigators indicated that the vehicle was totaled as a result. No further information has been released.
