‘Turn around,’ Bates County experiences significant roadway flooding

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol warns drivers of roadway safety as there is significant flooding in Bates County.

Missouri State Trooper Colten Henderson shared pictures of multiple roads completely submerged, with one car stuck in standing water.

The troop warned drivers in a post on X to not drive through water on roadways and to find an alternate route instead.
