Great Plains SPCA asks for public’s help in finding 2 dogs missing for over 14 days
MERRIAM, Kan. (KCTV) - Great Plains SPCA is asking the public for help in locating two missing rescue dogs who have been gone for over two weeks.
Both dogs, named Valentine and Cody (formerly called Mason), come from traumatic pasts and require gentle, non-confrontational approaches if seen or spotted.
A reward of $500 is being offered for each dog’s safe return.
Valentine, a chihuahua/terrier mix, is shy and was rescued from a hoarding situation. She was last seen at 4720 NE 67th St. in KCMO wearing a pink collar.
She lived with dozens of other dogs in a cramped trailer and minimal human . Because of her foster family, she began to experience kindness and trust. Valentine went missing from her foster home in the Gladstone area and remains very fearful.
Do not chase her if you see her. If you do see Valentine, call Great Plains SPCA at 913-230-8377.
