Kansas City Mayor alerts public of downtown street racers and sideshows
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Mayor Quinton Lucas and the Kansas City Police Department encountered street racers and sideshows early Saturday evening.
In a post on X, Mayor Lucas said that he along with law enforcement came across these drivers on 31st and Main.
Myself and KD have already encountered street racers and sideshows on 31st and Main this evening. Officers are out to apprehend those causing potential harm to others and themselves. Please let us know if you have concerns in your area.

The mayor also made note that officers are out to apprehend those causing potential harm to themselves and community .
Mayor Lucas asked the public to please inform law enforcement if issues regarding sideshows and street racing arise in their area.
