WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Congress returns to Washington with ambitions to President Donald Trump’s agenda as he nears a benchmark in his term, and the U.S. Supreme Court wraps up their last hearings of this term.

After two weeks off to celebrate over and Easter, Congress returns to the nation’s capital with an eye on ing Trump’s agenda. Congressional Republicans hope to continue work on reconciliation and what Trump calls “one big beautiful bill.” It would include tax cuts and money for both the military and border security.

Also this week, Trump celebrates his 100th day of his second term in office. He’s planning on holding a rally Tuesday night in Michigan to mark the ceremonial occasion.

The Supreme Court also starts to wrap up its oral arguments hearing some of its final cases of this term. They include cases on school access for disabled students, charter schools and law enforcement raids on the wrong houses. The justices are expected to release their decisions in June.

The justices did add one more case. They will hear arguments on May 15 on Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship.
