FIRST WARN FORECAST: Lingering thunderstorms overnight as severe threat lessens
This risk for severe thunderstorms is mainly until midnight. The tornado watch will expire at this time. There still will likely be some off and of thunderstorms into early Tuesday morning, but this overnight round looks much less threatening. A severe storm or two with small hail and gusty winds will be possible, but it generally looks like garden variety thunderstorms. Honestly, heavy rain will be one of the bigger issues, especially if storms track over the same area.
TUESDAY: The severe threat is gone, and the morning commute looks good. It will be cooler with morning temperatures in the low to mid-50s. The afternoon will only hit the mid-60s with partly cloudy skies. A few late-day showers or non-severe storms are possible, but odds are low at 30%.
WEDNESDAY: FIRST WARN - Widespread rain likely, especially in the afternoon and evening. Rain chance is 70%. Highs in the upper 60s.
THURSDAY: FIRST WARN - Rain likely at times, especially in the morning. Highs near 70. Rain totals through Thursday could range from 0.5″ to 1.5″
FRIDAY: A nice day with low 70s. It looks mostly dry, though a few spotty afternoon showers are possible. The chance is low at 20%.
WEEKEND: Both Saturday and Sunday will be wonderful with highs in the 70s and mostly sunny skies.
