UFL investigating after Michigan player slaps St. Louis fan in the face
ST. LOUIS (KMOV/Gray News) – The United Football League is investigating an incident in which a player slapped a fan in the stands.
Video from the St. Louis Battlehawks home game Saturday shows Michigan Panthers player Samson Nacua slapping a Battlehawks fan.
The two men have a verbal exchange before Nacua is seen reaching up to slap the fan across the face, then walks away.
The fan didn’t seem to be injured.
United Football League Spokesman Mike Wade said the incident is currently under investigation.
“The UFL is aware of the incident that took place last evening at the conclusion of the Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League officials are currently investigating the matter,” Wade said.
The Battlehawks won the game 32-27.
Nacua is the brother of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua of the NFL.
