Care for KC: Deron Cherry rallies Chiefs Kingdom
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A metro charity is calling on the community for help to give back.
The Deron Cherry Foundation, created by the former Chiefs Safety, is calling on Chiefs Kingdom to volunteer at their #CareForKC giveaway.
The gathering is on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at United Beverage on Woodland Avenue.
Cherry’s foundation is asking for volunteers to sign up to help sort and distribute the items gathered.
The Deron Cherry Charitable Foundation is donating pallets of goods ready to metro nonprofits and says the more helping hands, the better.
