Kimberly Richmond, 52, faces two counts of child endangerment.

Akron Police Lt. Michael Murphy said the child’s mother called them Saturday evening when she picked up her child and noticed burns on her face.

Officers arrived at the home and met the child’s mother, who said she left her daughter in Richmond’s care while she went out of town for a few days.
