First Warn Forecast: Best weekend in awhile on deck
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - It’s a simply fantastic weekend on the way! It looks to be the most sunshine we’ve had during the weekend in over a month. We will have crisp morning-40s, but mild afternoon-60s both days. Winds will also behave, remaining quite light through the weekend.

Saturday: You’ll need to dress warmly for the morning activities. The start is chilly, low to mid-40s. Sunglasses are a good bet on Saturday. High temperatures hang in the middle 60s, about 5 degrees cooler than average. Mostly sunny with northwest winds at 5-15 mph.

Sunday: Sunshine hangs around and so do the comfy afternoon temperatures. We begin the same, low to middle 40s, but boost the afternoon highs a couple of degrees, upper 60s. Winds will be from the northeast at 5-10 mph.

Next Week: Off to a nice start Monday with sunshine and low 70s. The next system arrives mid-week, bringing some scattered rain by Wednesday. At this point, no severe weather is expected.
