KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A 29-year-old Kansas City Fire Department paramedic died on Sunday after he was stabbed while transporting a patient.

On Friday, KCFD was set to hold a public visitation and funeral service for Graham Hoffman, who had served in the department for three years.

A public visitation will take place from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (1600 Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068). A funeral service will follow from 1-2:30 p.m., and then a funeral procession will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. The procession will stop by Station 42, where Hoffman had been assigned. It will then return to White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone, Missouri.

Since Hoffman’s tragic death, people from around the world have shown love and for his family.

Shanetta Bossell, 39, has been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, third-degree assault on a special victim and resisting arrest.
