KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Graham Hoffman memorial t-shirt is being purchased throughout Kansas City and the world as community , teams and organizations are placing orders.

Profits from the sale will all be donated to Hoffman’s family. They even made a TV debut, being worn by the Royals during batting practice Monday night.

These come from a print shop right here in Kansas City. E2 Embroidery and Screen Printing is the only way to order it, and make sure it’s benefiting the family.

Owner Dawn Eddings says the shirt sales have reached beyond any borders.

“It went global at this point. Last we checked it was all 50 states and 11 countries,” she said. “2,200 individuals, family, friends. 35,000-ish items have been ordered. It’s pretty incredible.”

Eddings says she learned quickly that this reach comes with people trying to take advantage.

Around a dozen links on Google will take you to a site to buy a near duplicate shirt, without benefiting the Hoffman family. This, paired with TikTok videos and over a dozen shops opened on the app, has those hoping to confused.

“I clicked on [the TikTok Shop link]. It had already had 19 pieces sold, so 19 people had thought they were part of the fundraiser and they’re not,” Eddings said.

She and others in the community have tried to report the links and shops, but with no success.

Moving forward, Eddings says customers need to make sure they’re using the correct link, especially when looking to help others.

“Make sure it’s the right link. We are E2 Embroidery and Screen Printing out of Kansas City. The only one that should be selling that t-shirt that the money is going directly to the Hoffman family,” she said.

The correct link can be found here. Eddings says to avoid any Google searches to find the memorial shirts. It is also on their Facebook page here.
