First Warn Wednesday as rain chances build this afternoon
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV)— Grab the rain gear! Rain chances are isolated to spotty for the lunchtime hours ahead of a rise in chances the rest of the day. This afternoon to evening, we will see rain build in from the south and become widespread along and south of I-70. The metro will have the best chance of seeing rain during this timeframe.
Clouds and rain will keep our temperatures at bay today, as highs only reach the mid 60s. Most of the day will be spent in the 60s.
Rain chances start to break up by sunset but remain spotty to scattered through the night. We will remain cloudy with temperatures in the mid-50s.
THURSDAY: Thursday will bring a 30% chance for isolated rain showers, mainly in the morning. Decreasing clouds for the afternoon with highs near 70.
FRIDAY: Friday will be nice! High temperatures in the low-70s with sunshine.
WEEKEND: This Mother’s Day weekend will be a beautiful one! Highs reach the upper-70s to low-80s, and the sun will shine bright.
