Big Slick reveals first round of celebrities coming to Kansas City for charity weekend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The celebrity weekend benefiting Children’s Mercy Hospital is back for its 16th year.

Big Slick revealed on social media the first celebrities ing the 2025 lineup.

Johnny Knoxville, known for the movie series “Jackass,” will return to Kansas City for the fundraising weekend.

SNL star Kenan Thompson will make his first appearance at Big Slick.

Hometown musical artist and 2008 American Idol winner David Cook will once again return to Kansas City.

Fortune Feimster, a standup comedian and Colette on “The Mindy Project,” rounded out the initial list unveiled Monday morning.

The weekend begins on May 29 with a “Just Us” VIP Event, followed by the celebrity softball game on May 30 and a show at T-Mobile Center on May 31.

The following Kansas City natives will return to host the weekend:

  • David Koechner (Anchorman, The Office)
  • Rob Riggle (Step Brothers, The Hangover)
  • Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Clueless)
  • Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family)
  • Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso, SNL)
  • Heidi Gardner (SNL)
