Midwest Animal ResQ set to close building, will still operate through foster care

RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - Midwest Animal ResQ announced on May 5 that it will close its brick-and-mortar location.

In an email, rising operational expenses and a steady decline in financial were cited as the reasons behind the decision.

The decision was made proactively, while funds still exist. This way, Midwest Animal ResQ can continue to animals in need at a reduced capacity.

Foster-based rescue operations will continue as long as people are willing to foster, or fund and , the animals in need.

Midwest Animal ResQ started in 2009 and has saved over 15,000 pets.

Continued , in any form, is still requested, including fostering, donating or having fun at a fundraiser.
