KHP asking for witnesses in shooting on I-35 in Wyandotte County

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A shooting on I-35 in southern Wyandotte County on Saturday is under investigation, and the Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s assistance.
The KHP said a shooting that occurred just after 4 p.m. Saturday resulted in a victim being hospitalized.
It happened on southbound I-35 in the area of 18th Street and Lamar Avenue in Wyandotte County, KHP said Tuesday.
Anyone with information regarding witnesses or knowledge of the shooting is asked to call KHP at 785-827-3701.
KHP said the individual who was struck by a bullet is in stable condition.
