Major upgrades at Bonner Springs Azura Amphitheater
BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. (KCTV) - It feels like summer, and that means time outdoors at Bonner Springs Azura Amphitheater.
Locals often still refer to it as Sandstone - either way, it’s glowing up these days.
Major upgrades were just completed ahead of their summer concert series.
Some renovations music lovers can expect to see include improved seating and a new general ission pit, as well as an improved stage and backstage area.
New concrete walkways and enhancements to sound and video systems, along with additional improvements to the VIP club, restrooms, and landscaping.
All renovations are thanks to a $1 million grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce.
The first concert is set for May 23rd with the legendary country band, Alabama.
