‘Wicked’ live musical special starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande coming this fall

(CNN) - The film “Wicked” was so popular that a live musical special is now coming to the small screen.
According to Variety, the special will feature “Wicked” stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande performing live songs from the movie.
The special is set to air on NBC and stream on Peacock this fall.
Released last year, “Wicked” featured Erivo as Elphaba and Grande as Glinda. They were both nominated for Academy Awards for their roles in the box office hit.
