Volunteers wanted: KC 2026 puts out call for World Cup help

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City a success.
The first step for KC 2026, the group in charge of planning the event, is to gauge the public’s interest in helping.
That call went out Wednesday morning on social media.
Organizers ask anyone hoping to volunteer at a party, practice, event or match to create an and make sure organizers are aware of their interest.
The volunteer registration portal opened May 14.
FIFA is only allowing hopeful volunteers to at this point. Options to select specific events to volunteer at will not be available until later this summer.
