Olathe man killed in deadly crash off side of Interstate 435 in Lenexa
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - The Kansas Highway Patrol has reported the death of a Johnson County man early Saturday morning.
According to a report, 34-year-old Brady F. Toole of Olathe, Kansas, was driving north on Interstate 435 when he crashed around 1:30 a.m. on May 17.
KHP said Toole was driving in the third lane when he crossed over the fourth lane and went off the side of the interstate entirely. His 2005 Ford pickup truck went through a grassy ditch and hit a Kansas Department of Transportation sign before beginning to slide. It then hit a pillar of the 95th Street bridge before coming to a stop.
Toole was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and died of his injuries several hours later. His next of kin has been notified.
