Royals promote top prospect Jac Caglianone to Omaha

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - As the Kansas City Royals offense continues to struggle, help is on the horizon.

The Royals top prospect, Jac Caglianone, has been promoted to AAA Omaha.

Caglianone, the sixth overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, was tearing up Double-A Northwest Arkansas. In 38 games for the Naturals, the 22-year-old hit .322/.394/.553 with 9 home runs and 43 RBI.

The former Florida Gator is expected to make his Triple-A debut for the Stormchasers on Tuesday. He is now just one step away from the major leagues.
