Teens caught with alcohol, business accused of selling it to them facing possible charges
CLAYCOMO, Mo. (KCTV) - Two teens and a business are facing potential charges related to the underage sale and consumption of alcohol.
The Claycomo Police Department posted online that on May 17, an officer saw what appeared to be two minors leaving a business with a case of alcohol.
The officer spoke with the teens and reported that not only were they both 17 years old, they were both drunk and had marijuana with them. Several open alcohol containers, vape cartridges, a water bong and approximately seven grams of marijuana were recovered from their possession.
Claycomo police said the teens may face juvenile charges for the incident, and the business involved is under investigation with pending charges.
