KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Those looking to get a reservation at Seasons 52 in Kansas City are out of luck as the restaurant plans to permanently shutter its doors.

Darden Restaurants announced on Monday, May 19, that Seasons 52 on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City will permanently close its doors to customers at the end of the night.

“Closing this restaurant is a difficult business decision, and one that we made carefully and thoughtfully, particularly because it impacts our team and guests,” a Darden Communications Specialist told KCTV5 News.

Company leaders noted that all employees will have the chance to relocate to one of the other Darden restaurants in the area. Those include Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Yard House, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, The Capital Grille and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.

As of Monday afternoon, Google has listed the Seasons 52 location as permanently closed. Reservations are also no longer being accepted on the business’s website.

Meanwhile, Seasons 52 has 44 other locations across the U.S. The closest locations to Kansas City include Dallas, Memphis, Indianapolis and Chicago. No further information has been released.
