Investigation into Capitol Jewish Museum shooting focuses on manifesto

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Law enforcement is now investigating a possible manifesto written by the shooter.
Wednesday night, Israeli Embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were shot and killed outside an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
Friday, some really chilling new details from the FBI affidavit.
Officials say 31-year-old Elias Rodriguez checked a gun with his luggage on Tuesday, when he flew from Chicago to Washington D.C. for work conference.
Surveillance video shows him walking past his two victims outside the Capital Jewish Museum, before turning around and shooting them from behind.
Once they fell to the ground, he continued firing.
At one point, 26-year-old Sarah Milgrim, tried to crawl away, but Rodriguez followed her, shooting her several more times.
In total, 21 shots were discharged.
Milgrim was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. 30-year-old Yaron Lischinsky was pronounced dead at the scene.
Those who knew the couple say they planned on getting engaged during a trip to Jerusalem next week
During the arrest, Rodriguez told officers quote, “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza.”
He is now being charged with first degree murder. He has yet to enter a plea.
