Investigation underway after fire at vacant KC-area university dorm

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - An investigation is underway after a fire at a vacant dorm of a Kansas City area university.

The Kansas City Fire Department and Kansas City, Missouri Police Department were called to 15800 Calvary Road on Friday morning just before 10:30 a.m.

There, crews discovered a fire at a three-story dormitory at Calvary University.

No injuries were reported.

KD’s Bomb and Arson Unity was requested and will handle the investigation, a spokesperson for KCFD said.
