Kansas City detectives investigate 2 scenes involved in midtown homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The long Memorial Day Weekend started with a homicide investigation for Kansas City detectives.
Police responded to a shooting in the area of 39th Street and Broadway around 4 p.m.
They also located a second scene at 43rd and Mill Creek Parkway.
Detectives said someone shot a man near the first scene on Broadway. They believe he drove an SUV to 43rd and Mill Creek Parkway, where he drove the SUV off the street.
The victim died of his injuries. On Saturday, he was identified as 30-year-old Levon J. Quinn.
