Summer Steals: Cash in on movie perks, discount tickets

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Summer is unofficially here and that means a lot of time to entertain kids who are out of school.

Summer can be an expensive time for families, so here are some movie deals that soften the blow to your wallet.

AMC

AMC is offering half-price tickets during certain times this summer. The Leawood-based company said it hopes the deal will help make “moviegoing more affordable than ever.”

AMC Stubs loyalty can get 50% off regular adult evening tickets all day long on Wednesdays, starting July 9.

Guests who are not currently AMC Stubs can sign up to be AMC Stubs Insider for free through the AMC mobile app, website, or at their local theatre.

AMC plans to continue offering discount Tuesdays as well to .

B&B Theaters

A big screen of summer fun awaits moviegoers at B&B Theaters.

The movie chain is holding a summer kids series, with a different movie every week this summer.

Backstage can buy tickets for $3 a movie. Non- will pay $5.

Cinemark is also hoping families will cash in on the fun on the big screen this summer.

Summer Movie CLubhouse 2025 is back at select locations.

Tickets are just $1.75 a ticket for the 9 a.m. showings of the following movies through August 7.

Enjoy a series of family movies this summer for just $1 a ticket. The dollar deal is valid for the first showtime on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
