Liberty police searching for car believed to be involved in neighborhood gunfire

LIBERTY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Liberty Police Department has asked for the public’s help identifying a car that was seen in a residential area Monday night.

According to the department, officers were called to the Clay Meadows neighborhood around 11:17 p.m. on May 26 on reports of gunshots. No injuries were reported, but surveillance video from the area shows a car that may have been involved in the incident.

🚨 SHOTS FIRED 🚨 Last night, at approximately 11:17 PM, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the Clay Meadows neighborhood. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at this time. We are releasing this surveillance video in hopes that someone in the community may recognize the vehicle or have additional information that can assist in our investigation. We slowed the video to get a better look at the vehicle leaving.
