WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - As the war in Ukraine has been heating up, the US and Russia have also been engaged in intensifying rhetoric and that continued at the White House on Wednesday.

President Donald Trump continued to criticize President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday after a series of intense Russian attacks on Ukraine.

But stopped short of saying if sanctions are coming and claimed this is not his war.

In recent days, President Trump has been showing more signs that he’s growing frustrated with Russian President Putin’s escalating attacks against Ukraine, both publicly in front of cameras, “I’m very disappointed at what happened a couple of nights now where people were killed in the middle of what you would call a negotiation.”

And online, calling the Russian leader crazy and saying that he is was playing with fire.

Trump has often spoken about his good relationship with Putin, making his recent criticism unusual.

Now, as violence as intensified and peace talks stalled, President Trump has changed his tone.

But he hasn’t taken actions, such as additional sanctions against Russia… saying Wednesday, he doesn’t want to jeopardize a possible deal with Putin.

“If I think I’m close to getting. I don’t want to screw it up by doing that.”

The president suggested that he’ll make a decision on how to respond to Russia within two weeks.

Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was in Berlin, trying to gain more from European allies.
