Michigan woman killed in single-car crash while traveling through Missouri

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported the death of a woman who crashed while driving Friday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on May 30. According to a report, a 33-year-old Saginaw, Michigan, woman was driving east on Interstate 70 when she went off the right side of the road and hit a bridge at mile-marker 88.4.

It’s unclear what caused the crash, but the woman died of her injuries at the scene. Her identity was not released, but MSHP noted that her next of kin has been notified.

The woman’s Chevrolet Cruze was totaled in the crash and towed from the scene.
