CAMERON, Mo. (KCTV) - First responders stated nobody was injured Friday evening after a hot air balloon struck a power line.

The Cameron Police Department stated that just before 7:40 p.m., law enforcement was notified of a hot air balloon that had hit a high-voltage power line during its flight. The balloon became entangled in the electrical lines, a release stated.

Utility crews from NW Electric, Platte-Clay Electric and Scobee Electric responded to the scene, along with emergency services, and were able to restore power and ensure electrical safety for all responders to the scene.

All engers on board the balloon were freed, and no injuries were reported in the incident, Cameron police stated.
