Driver dies in hospital after crashing outside Raytown cemetery

RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - A Raytown man has died following a single-car crash Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 3 p.m. on May 31.
A 56-year-old man was driving west on 53rd Street at Maywood Avenue when he veered off the left side of the road and his Chevrolet Impala flipped. MSHP said he was not wearing a seatbelt, and he suffered critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at Centerpoint Medical Center.
The man’s car was totaled in the accident.
