KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD) responded to a structure fire in the 8300 block of E. Bannister at 9:30 p.m. on June 1.

Crews reported heavy fire from an empty single-story commercial strip mall upon arrival.

The fire was under control and companies are working on hot spots.

Dangerous buildings have been ordered.
