Kansas City police ask public for information in fatal apartment shooting
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man died Saturday morning after he was shot at a Northland apartment building.
The Kansas City Police Department stated that officers were made aware of a shooting report about 11:10 a.m. in the 3000 block of NE 37th Street.
Law enforcement was made aware that the shooting victim had been taken to the hospital via a personal vehicle and died there a short time later.
KD stated that evidence indicated the shooting likely took place inside an apartment building.
Police said nobody remained at the hospital with the shooting victim, and there was no one to be found at the scene of the shooting.
“Detectives could really use the public’s help with information,” KD stated.
If anyone was in the area around that time and heard or saw anything or has any information, they are asked to Homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS hotline.
