KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The world-traveling ‘Rideshare Foodie’ made his way KC to try different BBQ.

Kreskin Torres has been to all fifty states on a unique mission - to try new cuisines and meet new people as a rideshare driver. This Baltimore native travels the country for more than just a bite to eat. He says that having conversations while driving locals has allowed him to learn about each state’s history and culture.

“Push the food stuff aside, it’s just a great way to connect with different people,” said Torres.

Torres says that in his opinion, Kansas City BBQ comes in a close second to Texas BBQ. He’s not done with Kansas City yet, however.

He hopes to visit Mahomes’ and Kelce’s new restaurant and try even more unique KC creations.
