Mahomes, Messi team up for latest adidas commercial
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two of the best athletes in the world are teaming up for a new commercial, as part of adidas’ latest ad campaign.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and global soccer star Lionel Messi are featured in the sportswear company’s You Got This campaign film, the business announced Thursday.
Mahomes and Messi, both adidas athletes, are seen in a battle of speed on the treill. The company said the ad campaign is centered around the belief that “we all need someone to make us believe,” and that “you can always raise your game further through the encouragement of your peers.”
The two stars are seen running on treills, pushing buttons on the treill to push each other to run at a faster pace. “You Got This,” then appears across the screen at the end of the commercial.
The commercial will be seen on TV throughout the rest of the year, adidas said.
